What are the classifications of cylinders for vibrating screens?

There are many types of vibrating screen cylinders, and the classification methods are also different. Generally classified according to the direction in which compressed air acts on the piston end face:


1) Single acting cylinder for vibrating screen. Compressed air only enters the cylinder from one chamber to push the piston, while the return of the piston is due to the action of other external forces such as springs, diaphragm tension, and self weight.


2) Double acting cylinder for vibrating screen. The reciprocating motion of the cylinder piston is driven by compressed air.


Classified by the structural characteristics of the cylinder:


1) Vibration screen piston cylinder.


2) Diaphragm cylinder. Qingdao shot blasting machines are classified according to the function of the cylinder: 1) No buffering cylinder (ordinary cylinder). Used for occasions without special usage requirements.


2) Buffer cylinder. One or both ends of the cylinder are equipped with buffering devices to reduce the impact of piston movement on the cylinder head when it reaches the end of its stroke.


3) Heat resistant cylinder. Used for ambient temperatures of 120-150. C, The cylinder sealing ring, piston guide ring, and buffer pad of the hook shot blasting machine all require heat-resistant materials, such as fluororubber for the sealing ring and buffer pad, and polytetrafluoroethylene for the guide ring.


4) Corrosion resistant cylinder. Used for working in corrosive environments. The parts on the exposed surface of the cylinder need to be made of corrosion-resistant materials, such as cylinder barrel, piston rod, American Red Maple end cap, and pull rod, which are made of stainless steel. Different corrosion-resistant materials can be selected according to the corrosion condition.


5) Low friction cylinder. The magnitude of friction in the cylinder system directly affects the stability of cylinder motion. The measures to reduce friction generally include: reducing the roughness values of sliding surfaces such as the inner surface of the cylinder and the outer surface of the piston rod; Reduce the contact area of the sealing ring; Using materials with low friction coefficient, etc.

6) Turbochargers are divided into two types: gas boosting and gas-liquid boosting:


① Turbocharger. The cylinder has two pistons with different cross-sectional sizes, and the principle of constant product of pressure and area is used to increase the output pressure.


② Gas liquid booster. Composed of cylinders and hydraulic cylinders, it converts low-pressure air into high-pressure oil to achieve high output force. There are also high-speed cylinders, swing pneumatic cylinders, multi position cylinders, locking cylinders, rotary cylinders, impact cylinders, stepper cylinders, adjustable stroke cylinders, anti rotation cylinders, anti falling cylinders, gas-liquid damping cylinders, etc., all of which belong to the functional classification of cylinders.
