Spiral Feeder
There are several feeding methods for the hopper of an automatic batching machine, including spring feeding system, automatic batching machine, fully automatic batching machine, centralized feeding system, active feeding system, vacuum feeding, and compressed air pipeline transportation feeding. Below is a detailed introduction for us:
1、 Automatic batching machine equipment: mainly composed of components such as fan, suction pipe, storage bin, suction pipe, filter screen, electric control box, etc.
When the feeding system hopper requires feeding, fan 2 is activated to create negative pressure in the central storage bin through suction pipe 4 and filter screen 3; At the same time, the suction pipe 8 connected to the central storage bin and material box sucks the material from the material box into the central storage bin. When a certain amount is sucked in, the feeding relay acts, the central system fan stops working, and the suction operation stops; At this point, the discharge valve opens to supply material to the extruder hopper and then to the central system.
2、 Automatic metering system:
The method of using fully active air ducts to transport materials is often applied to several extruders working side by side to produce and supply materials. In such a large-scale extrusion product workshop, the material transportation system consists of a main feeding pipeline, which is further divided into several branch pipelines to feed each extruder hopper. This method, which relies on compressed air and uses air ducts to transport materials, occupies a small area, requires fewer people, and has a relatively clean environment. It can be used to transport granular and powder materials.
3、 Automatic metering system equipment: It installs a rotary spring inside a rubber tube, and the spring is directly driven by an electric motor to rotate at high speed inside the rubber tube. When the hopper requires feeding, the electric motor is activated to drive the spring to rotate, and the material is driven up by the spring coil. The upper end of the rubber tube is aligned with the hopper, and a discharge port is opened. The material that rises to the discharge port is thrown out of the discharge port by the centrifugal force of the spring rotation and enters the hopper. This feeding equipment has a simple structure, easy operation and repair, and is suitable for the transportation of granular and powder materials.
