Two batching methods and operational characteristics of automatic concrete batching machine

What are the two batching methods of concrete automatic batching machine? Our technicians have summarized that concrete batching machines can be divided into belt type and cylinder type according to the batching control method.

1. Belt batching type: Its structure is mostly composed of a raw material storage hopper at the top, an automatic metering system at the bottom, and an unloading conveyor belt at the bottom. The storage hopper is used to store the raw materials to be mixed, and the bottom of the storage hopper is facing the batching conveyor belt. The principle is as follows: when the batching starts, the belt conveyor starts to take out the raw materials from the storage hopper to the set value, and the belt stops. Then, under the control of the control instrument, several materials are sequentially configured until all materials are configured. The instrument control starts the unloading belt to send the materials to the next link (such as the mixer lifting bucket or conveyor belt machine, etc.). Belt batching is mostly used in small and medium-sized construction sites. Due to its small material base, in order to further improve the batching accuracy, reduce the error value but not affect the distribution efficiency, low-speed batching and fast unloading methods can be used. Users who use this type of batching machine often hope to use the metering bucket of the batching machine to simultaneously measure bulk cement in order to reduce procurement costs. They use a cement screw conveyor to drive cement from the cement silo into the metering bucket of the batching machine. This method is generally not recommended because cement has good fluidity and may cause a small amount of cement to overflow from the gap between the metering bucket mouth and the conveyor belt, resulting in dust pollution or cement loss on site. If this method is not necessary, a groove type belt roller must be used, and a soft thin barrier edge must be added at the bucket mouth to control cement overflow.

2. Cylinder batching machine: Its structure is mostly composed of a raw material storage hopper at the upper part, which is equipped with a raised plate to increase the storage capacity, and a measuring hopper at the lower part. Each batching door can be equipped with a whole measuring hopper, so that each material can be sequentially added to the same measuring hopper (cumulative measurement), or a single measuring hopper can be set under each batching door (each called each material). The measured materials are sent to the next link by the bottom belt conveyor. The cylinder batching method utilizes the gravity flow of materials downstairs, resulting in a fast batching speed and is suitable for medium and large mixing plants. Currently, concrete mixing plants (buildings) above HZS50 are mostly used.
